Keyence UV Laser Marker Engraver Enclosure with Laser filtering OD3+ Acrylic (Universal Fit)

The Keyence UV UV Laser Marker Enclosure by Clearview Plastics is a made-to-fit safety and ventilation enclosure for the Keyence UV — UV marking heads (MD-U series and similar). Its fully transparent OD3+ laser-filtering acrylic panels give you a clear view from every side while blocking 99.9%+ of stray 355 nm UV light and containing the fumes and ozone.

Offered in multiple sizes so you can match the Keyence or size up to your media, it's a "set-over" enclosure that assembles in 20–30 minutes and can ship flat-packed or delivered assembled.

Full visibility with real UV light-filtering

UV "cold" lasers mark without burning, but 355 nm is still a Class 4 hazard to eyes and skin, and the photochemical process gives off ozone and fine fume. This enclosure keeps the view open while cutting the danger:

• OD3+ laser-filtering acrylic — spectrometer-tested to block 99.9%+ (1000×+ reduction) of 355 nm laser light, so stray beams are dramatically attenuated.
• Fully transparent panels on all sides — front, back, sides, and top, for the best possible workpiece visibility.
• Door gasketing — seals the door perimeter to keep fumes and ozone in and block light leakage around the edges.

Note: the OD3+ panels dramatically reduce stray-light exposure and are spectrometer tested. However they do not reclassify your Class 4 laser. Always wear OD-rated UV safety glasses while the laser is in use.

Contain the fumes and ozone

• 4" exhaust adapter — connects a flexible 4" hose on the rear panel to vent outdoors or to a filter.
• Fan & venting options — add a 95 CFM or 200 CFM fan, or our window exhaust kit, for the extraction your workload needs.
• Donaldson AD350 filter — step up to a heavier-duty Donaldson AD350 filtration unit purpose-built for laser marking when venting outside isn't an option.
• Flow-control vents — slide-open vents on the front and sides tune airflow for better extraction.

Frequently asked questions

What does an OD3+ rating mean?
OD3+ means less than 0.1% (one-thousandth) of a beam's power can get through the panel — a 1,000×+ reduction — spectrometer-tested above OD3 across the relevant wavelengths. It's safe for incidental viewing during normal operation, but it is not a certified laser-viewing window and does not reclassify your laser.

Should I get this or the OD6+ heavy-duty enclosure?
This OD3+ acrylic enclosure gives the clearest all-around visibility. For a higher-rated OD6+ UV window with aluminum-composite panels and a more industrial build, choose our UV / Fiber Galvo Laser Marker Enclosure.

What are the exhaust and filtration options?
A 4" exhaust adapter is included. Add a 95 CFM or 200 CFM fan or our window exhaust kit, or step up to a heavy-duty Donaldson AD350 laser-rated filtration unit for indoor operation.

Can it act as a pass-through for long media?
Yes — add the optional side doors; with two side doors the enclosure opens on both sides to pass long or large stock straight through.

Can I get it assembled?
Yes. Choose the delivered-assembled option; you can also add a magnetic door interlock (2-wire lead) and extra seam sealing.

What is your return policy?
30-day return policy. Unused, undamaged panels with masking fully attached are eligible for a full refund less return shipping. Damaged or unmasked panels are not refundable.
